Leadership Development Institute
On April 30, 2008, IN THE KNOW with Tony Reeves, Esq., will conduct an interview with Dameon Proctor regarding the dynamic program conducted by brothers of the Alpha Eastern region of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE.
For nearly a century, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated has been the hallmark of leadership development, providing our nation and the world with leaders whose talents have contributed immeasurable value to humanity and civilization. The Leadership Development Institute was chartered in the Alpha Eastern Region in 1983 and is housed within the William Ross Education Foundation, a 501c3 organization.
The 2008 Program will mark the 25th Anniversary of the Alpha Phi Alpha Leadership Development Institute, celebrating the young people who have participated in our program and continued on to lead successful lives and careers. LDI reaches out to the brightest and best and instills leadership qualities and skills that will assist them in becoming tomorrow’s leaders today. Participants have been groomed and trained to assume roles in the future as leaders and good citizens throughout their communities.
“Leadership is a word that is often used but rarely put into application properly.”, said Reeves. “Alpha Phi Alpha is taking the lead in properly preparing our future dreamers, designers, and builders with the proper leadership skills necessary to exceed their own expectations.”
